Gradkell is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented software developer to join a winning team supporting important missions while leveraging your skills to quickly develop and deploy applications. Our team is dedicated to provide exemplary support to our customers.

The ideal candidate will be articulate and will focus on making sure that the customer’s needs are met quickly and effectively. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work with limited supervision. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively interface with customers to understand requirements and mission needs, and then be able to translate them into actions.

Candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer’s information. Current clearance is not required, but selected individual cannot start the assignment until the required security clearance is granted by the customer.

  • Candidate MUST be a U.S. citizen and live in the U.S.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Experience with Oracle APEX version 21.2 or greater is desired. This is an application development position that requires candidates to have understanding and experience with the full scope of the SDLC.
  • Experience with OBIEE/OAS and business intelligence reporting is desired.
  • Experience with Oracle RDBMS, SQL and PL/SQL is required.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle database objects – tables, views, indexes, directories, sequences, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, packages, etc. is required.
  • Experience using Oracle Integrated Development Environments such as Quest Toad and/or Oracle SQL Developer is a plus.
  • Candidate must be highly detail-oriented with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.

Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, and debugs using Oracle APEX and/or PL/SQL and detailed specifications. Analyzes functional business applications and transforms them into detailed system design and technical documents.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years experience with programming and software development in multiple layers in the software stack (UI, web or micro services, database, search). Advanced degree equals 3 years experience.
  • Oracle APEX experience
  • PL/SQL
  • HTML
  • JavaScript

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Oracle Forms/Reports
  • Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), formerly OBIEE
  • Oracle APEX certifications and training
  • APEX Office Print (AOP)
  • Agile Methodology
